Glasgow Celtic Legend Henrik Larsson

This is a highly limited edition bust of the legendary Glasgow Celtic strikerr Henrik Larsson. The piece which stands at 11 inches on it's mahogany base is cast in resin bronze by the artists own hand to ensure a work of the highest quality. Each piece is etched with the edition number and comes with a signed certificate of authenticity.The edition will number no more than 150 ensuring the piece will become a seriously collectible piece of football memorabilia in the future. Attached to the base is a brass plaque with the enscription : Henrik Larsson. Henrik Larsson started his professional career playing for Högaborg at the age of 17. He subsequently moved to Helsingborgs IF, where his 50 goals in 56 appearances brought the attention of Feyenoord who signed him for £295,000 in 1993.He was signed by Celtic manager Wim Jansen in July 1997 for a fee of £650,000 and made his debut against Hibernian at Easter Road. Celtic won the Scottish Premier League and League Cup in his first season thus ending the
run of consecutive titles rivals Rangers in the process.After recovering from an horrific injury, and following the arrival of manager Martin O'Neill in 2000, Larsson and Celtic began to contest and win silverware on a more regular basis than during the 1990s. Celtic won the Scottish Premier League title in three of the subsequent four seasons, as well as two ScottishLeague Cups and a Scottish Cup. In 2001 he won the "Golden Boot" award for being Europe's most prolific goalscorer, with 35 league goals. His total in all competitions that season was 53. In 2003, he scored two superb goals in the UEFA Cup Final, although opponents Porto went on to win 3-2.His goalscoring feats on the continent for Celtic mean he holds the record for number of goals scored for a club from the British Isles in European matches. Celtic fans voted him the only foreigner in the greatest ever Celtic team.
